I drove my family and our dogs to Washington lake in the Uinta Mountains. We were fortunate the gate was recently opened. We walked around the lake which still had a significant amount of snow and ice on it, but the scenery was beautiful. There were a bunch of other families out with their dogs and a number of fishermen. It was a great day to escape into the mountains after a long winter break.
